Jennifer Brown, M.D. Jennifer Brown, M.D. click here to see Dr. Brown's curriculum vitae. Dr. Brown holds a classic yet solid philosophy regarding patient care: To provide compassionate, supportive care focusing on the whole person. For her, the physician-patient relationship should be mutual with the patient being an integral part of the team. Ultimately, she feels it is a privilege to be a part of the lives of cancer patients and their families. Dr. Brown is originally from Chicago, Illinois where she received her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her subsequent medical education at Rush Medical College. She came to the Bay Area to complete her internship and residency at Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Brown then returned to Chicago to complete her oncology fellowship at Northwestern University where she developed a strong interest and expertise in the treatment of breast cancer. Dr. Brown has ongoing experience in Phase I, II, III, and IV Clinical Pharmaceutical Trials as a Principal and/or Sub Investigator. She sees patients in California Cancer Care's San Mateo office. Despite her move back to the West Coast, Jen remains an ardent Chicago Cubs fan. She also loves jazz music, eating, playing golf and playing Frisbee with her beloved Border Collie named Blue. |
