Excellence in patient care has guided Dr. Eisenberg throughout his medical career. He seeks the best possible established treatments along with the most promising investigational agents for his patients. Dr. Eisenberg holds himself and his staff to an exceedingly high standard. Care and compassion also guide his every interaction. The end result is exceptional patient care given with respect and concern. Accountability and the adoption of “best practices” has been something Dr. Eisenberg has been interested in for some time.

Dr. Eisenberg earned his Medical Degree from Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia, after receiving his B.A. in Biology from Franklin & Marshall College. He completed his Internship in Internal Medicine at Jacksonville Hospitals Education Program, University of Florida. He did his Residency in Internal Medicine at Michigan State University and his Fellowship in Hematology & Oncology at Jacksonville Hospitals Education Program and the University of California, San Francisco. At UCSF, he served as an Assistant Research Physician at the Cancer Research Institute, seeing patients, teaching interns and residents and performing, laboratory research.

Dr. Eisenberg's outstanding reputation and commitment to patient care have resulted in a number of prestigious national appointments which include serving as a member of the National Quality Forum's Cancer Care Quality Measures Steering Committee and the National Cancer Institute's Committee to plan "an Idealized Design for Cancer Care.”

Dr. Eisenberg is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. He brings a vast experience in the design and conduct of clinical trials, and serves on a number of advisory boards, which guide the development of new drugs for our patients. Through out the years, CCC has participated in over 300 pharmaceutical company-sponsored and hundreds of National Cancer Institute sponsored clinical trials.

A man of diverse interests and talents, you're as likely to find Dr. Eisenberg investigating the latest technological trends as you are to find him outdoors enjoying the hills of Marin. Add to that his dedication to his wife and three daughters and their interests and you'll quickly see why Dr. Eisenberg is so multi-faceted.
